A Year for Connecting, Discovering, and Challenging

As we wrap up the year, it’s important to make time to reflect on where you started and finished the year. As a learning company, we at Circle 5 set goals for ourselves both individually and organization-wide. This year we focused on three key learning areas: Connectivity, Discovery, and Challenge.

We challenged our team members to Connect across departments. We provided opportunities for them to build relationships through activities like the summer party organization committee, and Red Wings games. The result has been a deeper understanding and appreciation for the work that each department puts in.

The remaining two key learning areas lean into each other nicely to support connectivity. By challenging ourselves to step outside of our comfort zones, we open ourselves up to the opportunity to reach our full potential. Charles Du Bos once said, “The important thing is this – to be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become.” Overcoming our old selves, and accepting the discomfort and Challenge of integrating new things into our lives, leads to Discovery and stronger Connections. It will lead us to our full potential. It will bring us further than we could ever go alone.

With 2023 behind us, we want to wish you peace and rest this holiday season. Next year we hope you consider challenging yourself. Leave your comfort zone, form new connections, and discover who you could become.
